IUIN-Sarah Jamison Keller Scholarship (Liberal Arts)

Overview:

This scholarship is awarded to an English language or literature major of junior status with senior status in the upcoming fall semester who is an Indiana resident.

The recipient must have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.3 for all completed undergraduate courses and not less than a 3.5 GPA for all English language and literature courses. The winning candidate must submit a scholarly or critical essay, in English, on any aspect of English language or literature.

The essay is to be judged by a committee of the English Department faculty. The committee will award the scholarship on the basis of the above criteria and the excellence of the submitted essay.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

  • Be an undergraduate junior or senior majoring in English or Literature in the School of Liberal Arts at IU Indianapolis
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.3 for all courses, and a minimum GPA of 3.5 for all English and literature courses
  • Be an Indiana resident
  • Submit the required application materials

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded and disbursed in the fall semester of the upcoming academic year.

Renewability:

This scholarship is renewable.
