IUB-Larry & Judith Lentych IU Bloomington Scholarship Honoring Donna Meko, RN (Nursing)

Overview:

The donors, loyal Indiana University volunteers and donors, established this scholarship to honor Judy’s sister Donna Wharton Meko, RN. Donna passed away at the young age of 41 from breast cancer. She served others throughout her career as a nurse epidemiologist and her legacy lives on today through her two adult children, both of whom work in the health care field. The donors wish to honor Donna by making the future brighter for health care professionals, specifically nurses, in the state of Indiana for generations to come.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

• Be an undergraduate nursing student on the Bloomington campus
• Be an Indiana resident

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded for the upcoming academic year.

Renewability:

This scholarship does not automatically renew, but you may receive it more than once.
