IUIN-John M. Riteris Memorial Scholarship (Liberal Arts)
Overview:
This scholarship recognizes undergraduate students who demonstrate a high level of excellence in the study of philosophy. It honors Professor John Riteris, a Philosophy faculty member during the 1970s.
No student application needed; Faculty nominated and selected.
Nominated students will receive an email notification requesting additional information to be completed utilizing the One.IU scholarship management. system.
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
- Be an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in the Department of Philosophy with a minimum of three (3) credit hours taken at the IU School of Liberal Arts at IU Indianapolis
- Have a GPA greater or equal to 3.3 out of a 4.0 scale
- The department bases its selection on superior scholastic achievement, faculty recommendations, and active engagement with the Department of Philosophy.
Awarding:
This scholarship will be awarded and disbursed in the upcoming academic year.
Renewability:
This scholarship is not renewable.
