IUB-CISAB Travel Award

The department considers and awards travel funding throughout the academic year as students will be traveling and need the funding before attending conferences, presenting papers, etc.

Please note that we are unable to support travel to countries that are under a Level 3 or higher travel advisory (see https://travelmaps.state.gov/TSGMap/)

  1. Provide a brief description of the meeting, field course, internship, or research experience you plan to participate in, including the sponsor organization, date(s), and location.
  2. Enter the name and email address of 1 CISAB faculty member who will send a note in support of your application.
  3. Enter the name and email address of a second CISAB faculty member who will send a note in support of your application.
  4. Have you applied for other funding to support your attendance at the conference from your department, the conference organizers, or outside agencies?
  5. Provide a tentative project budget including justification.
  6. Please upload a 250-word abstract describing your research project.
