IUIN-Academic Achievement Award for Communication Studies - Doctorate (Liberal Arts)

Overview:

The Department of Communication Studies presents this award to a Ph.D. candidate in Health Communication. The recipient will be a student pursuing their doctorate in Health Communication, must have demonstrated excellence in the field, made outstanding contributions to the department, have a superior grade point average, and have the support of the faculty. The Communication Studies faculty nominate and select the recipient for this award; there is no student application. If you wish to be considered for this award, please discuss your eligibility with your faculty advisor during the month of February.

Eligibility:

Recipients must:

• Be pursuing their doctorate in Health Communication at IU Indianapolis
• Have demonstrated excellence in the field
• Have made outstanding contributions to the department
• Have a superior GPA
• Have the support of the faculty

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded and disbursed in the spring semester of the current academic year.

Renewability:

This scholarship is not renewable.
