IUIN-Academic Achievement Award for Philosophy (Liberal Arts)

Overview:

The faculty of the Philosophy Department grant this award to recognize the outstanding undergraduate philosophy major in the graduating class.

The department bases its selection on superior scholastic achievement, faculty recommendations, and active engagement with the Department of Philosophy.

No student applications accepted. Faculty nominated and selected.

Nominated students will be asked by a faculty member to submit a short statement of purpose.

Eligibility:

Recipients must:

• Be pursuing a degree in the Department of Philosophy at IU Indianapolis
• Have a GPA great or equal to 3.5 out of a 4.0
• Have faculty support

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded and disbursed in the spring semester of the current academic year.

Renewability:

This scholarship is not renewable.
