IUB-Parker-Powell IU Student Government Student Activism Scholarship

Awarded annually to an undergraduate who is an IU Student Government student leader who has a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and has contributed extraordinary efforts to organizing students around political, social, or academic efforts to effect positive change on the campus environment for all students as determined by a scholarship committee. Financial need may be considered, but the merit of the contribution of the recipient should take precedence. The amount of the Scholarship will be a minimum of $2,500. The amount and recipient of the Scholarship will be determined by a scholarship committee of the Division. If, in a given year, there are more than enough funds available to fully fund at least one Scholarship recipient, additional recipient(s) may be chosen that year to receive any excess income.
