IUIN-Lacy and Patricia Johnson Scholars

Overview: The Johnson Scholars program, funded by Lacy and Patricia Johnson, reflects their commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders and public servants. This scholarship opportunity supports underrepresented students and fosters leadership and public service. The scholarship will provide about $5,000 each to five students annually. All recipients of the Scholarship will be known as Johnson Scholars.

Eligibility
This opportunity is open to incoming first-year undergraduate students at Indiana University Indianapolis who have financial need. Preference will be given to graduates of the Indianapolis Public Schools District (IPS) and Marion County Township Schools, excluding private charter schools.

Renewal
The Scholarship will be renewed for up to four years if recipients remain in good academic standing as determined by a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
