IUIN-Kathryn J. Wilson RISE Scholarship (Institute for Engaged Learning)

Overview:

Kathryn J. Wilson is a longstanding advocate for undergraduate research on the IU Indianapolis campus. The Kathryn J. Wilson RISE Scholarship was established by Kathryn and Daniel Wilson to support students’ engagement in a research intensive experience. These awards are to support undergraduate students who have taken or are currently completing an intensive research designated course.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

  • Be an undergraduate student at IU Indianapolis
  • Be enrolled full-time
  • Have a GPA of at least 2.8
  • Be currently enrolled in a research intensive course or provide proof of taking a research intensive course previously. If you are unsure whether a course qualifies as research intensive, speak to the instructor or reach out to ugrindy@iu.edu for eligibility.

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded and disbursed during the term that the applicant is enrolled in the RISE course.

Renewability:

This scholarship is not renewable.
