IUIN-Transfer and Adult Student Advisory Board Leadership Scholarship
The Center for Transfer & Adult Students (CTAS) supports students transitioning to IU Indianapolis. The Transfer and Adult Student Advisory Board Leadership Scholarship is a way for transfer and adult students to engage with CTAS staff to amplify students’ voices and to support student success. Advisory board leaders will help establish channels of communication with students, staff, and faculty and to promote transfer and adult student success. Scholarship recipients will participate in at least five events per semester (orientation, WOW, Bridge, student panels, etc.). CTAS advisor board student leaders will be required to attend one monthly meeting each semester. Time commitment is 40 hours of service each semester, and the scholarship renewal each semester is contingent on that service requirement. A brief interview using an assessment rubric will be part of the selection process. Up to seven students will be chosen for the scholarship.
