IUI-Platt Research Scholarship (Dental)

Given to a student of good academic standing in a School of Dentistry degree program who is an Indiana resident and is involved with research in Dental Materials or the broader area of Dental Biomaterials. There is to be one scholarship awarded per year, until such time as the amount available to be awarded exceeds the cost of tuition for one full year. At that time, one full scholarship and additional partial scholarships may be awarded. If multiple students qualify as determined by the Student Research Committee of the School, the recipient is to be selected based on the following priorities in the order presented: 1) quality of research presentations, 2) years of research involvement or 3) random selection.

Your required scholarship essay on the General Application must address your involvement in any research related to Dental Materials or Dental Biomaterials.
