IUI-Academic Achievement Award for Sociology (Liberal Arts)

This award recognizes a graduating senior sociology major who has demonstrated the highest level of excellence in the study of Sociology.

This award is open to all Sociology seniors who have taken at least seven (7) sociology courses at IUI, has a GPA greater or equal to 3.5 out of a 4.0 scale for IU sociology courses, and has graduated or expected to graduate in the academic year the award is granted. The students must be nominated by a Sociology faculty member who has taught the student or supervised his/her work. The department bases its final selection on superior scholastic achievement and special contributions to the Sociology Department.

No student application needed. Faculty nominated and selected.

Nominated students will receive an email notification requesting additional infomation to be completed utilizing the One.IU scholarship management system."
