IUI-George A. Welch Memorial Scholarship Fund (Dental)

Given to senior dental students displaying outstanding personal qualities (i.e. rapport with patients, classmates and co-workers). The following criteria, listed in order of importance, may also be considered: plans for general practice; married; member of ASDA; from Western Indiana Dental Society area; medium to upper class ranking scholastically; someone not having received other awards; and financial need not a primary requisite.

Your required scholarship essay on the General Application should include why you are interested in going into general practice.
