IUI-Dolores J. and Giles R. Hoyt IUI German Scholarship (Liberal Arts)

This scholarship was created by Professor Emeritus Giles Hoyt and Associate Dean Emerita Dolores Hoyt to to provide financial support and encouragement to students majoring, minoring, or pursuing a certificate or graduate degree in the German program with a preference for students who have a demonstrated financial need.

Applicants will have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale and preference will be given for students who have demonstrated financial need. Additionally, applicants will provide a personal statement of why they chose to pursue German. Additionally, the student must request a letter of recommendation from a German professor.
